Data we process and why

When you use the enquiry form, we process what you enter: name, email, phone, country, city, details about your project and your message. We use it only to respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal and, if you ask, send you our catalogue. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.

Legal bases

Where the GDPR applies, we process your data to take pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for operating and securing the site, on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Form delivery

Your enquiry is sent by our own server, as an email, to our mailbox hosted by Infomaniak Network SA in Switzerland. It is not stored on the website server.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Railway Corporation (USA) on servers located in the Netherlands. The host records technical data (IP address, date, pages visited) to operate and secure the site. Access from the USA cannot be ruled out; Railway is bound by a data processing agreement that includes the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, recognised by the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses no cookies and no analytics or tracking tools. Fonts and images are served from our own server.

Links to third-party sites transmit no data until you click them. After that, those sites' terms apply.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, then delete it, subject to statutory retention obligations.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to its processing and, where the GDPR applies, request restriction or portability, by writing to office@aalya.ch. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (www.edoeb.admin.ch) or, where the GDPR applies, with the data protection authority of your country of residence.
